Latex mattress vs memory foam
Understanding which option is best for you
A latex mattress is built with a top latex foam (Dunlop or Talalay) layer over a polyfoam base or innerspring / pocket coil hybrid base foundation layer.
A memory foam mattress is built with foam layers only. Memory foam (a.k.a. viscoelastic foam) was initially designed by NASA. Commonly, the support layers use a polyurethane foam with higher densities.
