Memory foam is not to be confused with the natural Dunlop Latex you’ll find in the Awara hybrid mattress. Memory foam is traditionally made of synthetic materials, specifically polyurethane, which has raised legitimate health concerns. Polyurethane is a known respiratory toxin. The Environmental Protection Agency has linked uncured polyurethane with itching and watery eyes, skin rashes, asthma, and other breathing difficulties in children and adults. Our latex foam is sourced from nature. We use rubber tapped from local, US Hevea Brasiliensis trees, and our latex manufacturing process has earned the esteemed Rainforest Alliance Certification for upholding rigorous eco-conscious and ethical standards. PLUS, our Dunlop latex foams meet rigorous CertiPUR-US standards for content, emissions, and durability. Our natural foams are free of:

You get a light touch of bounce, a cooling sensation that keeps the night sweats at bay, and more durability than most mattresses on the market.
